هذا القرد مازال الناس يذكرون قصته حتى الآن رغم موته، و رغم مرور فترة كبيرة على قصته، و لكن لأنه كان يقوم بوظائف الإنسان، فكان قرد البابون هذا يعمل داخل محطة السكك الحديدية، و يساعد موظف فيها يدعى جامبر في إنهاء وظائفه، و كان من أذكى الحيوانات حيث أنه تعلم ما يفعله بسرعة شديدة.
و قام بأداء ما يتم تكليفه به من مهام بدون عمل اي اخطاء طوال فترة عمله، و قد زادت شهرته لدرجة أن الناس من مناطق أخرى كانوا يأتون لمشاهدته في هذه المحطة بالتحديد، و مشاهدة كيف يعمل هذا القرد بدون الوقوع في أي اخطاء، و كان يتم معاملته كواحد من الموظفين الذين لهم راتب لما يقوم بفعله من وظائف .
قصة القرد الذي عمل في السكة الحديديةهناك موظف كان يعمل في السكك الحديدية الموجودة في جنوب افريقيا، و كان يدعى جامبر و أحد مهامه كانت القفز من عربة قطار الى عربة اخرى، و أثناء القفز في مرة من المرات حدثت له حادثة أليمة أدت إلى وقوعه تحت القطار، و تسببت الحادثة في فقدان جامبر ساقيه و عدم القدرة على الحركة.
و لكنه استمر في وظيفته بالرغم من ذلك و قام بصنع ارجل من الخشب، لكي تساعده في المشي و في أداء وظيفته، و بالإضافة إلى ذلك قام بعمل عربة خشبية، هذه العربة تساعده في التنقل لأداء جميع وظائفه على أكمل وجه، و لكنه كان يحتاج لمساعد لكي يقوم بهذه المهام معه.
و قد رأى جامبر أحد قردة البابون في السوق المحلي، و الذي كان يشارك في عرض يقوم فيه بقيادة عربة، و كان هذا القرد ذكي بشكل ملحوظ، مما أدى لأن يقوم جامبر بأخذ هذا القرد مقابل بعض المال، لكي يقوم بمساعدته في المهام المختلفة داخل المحطة، و هذا القرد قام بتعلم الوظائف المطلوبة منه بسرعة، و تعلم كيف يقوم بدفع العربة، و تعلم أيضاً كيف يمكنه تغيير الإشارات المختلفة للقطار.
كما قام بتعلم كيف يمكنه تسليم المفاتيح لسائقي القطار عند قدومهم للمحطة، و كان يتعلم القرد عن طريق. مشاهدة جامبر و هو يقوم بالوظيفة المطلوبة منه، ثم يقوم بعملها بدون عمل اي اخطاء، و كان سائقي القطارات يقومون بعمل اربع صافرات لكي يعبر أنه يحتاج المفاتيح في هذا الوقت، و كان جامبر يقوم بإعطاء المفاتيح للسائق، و لكن بصعوبة شديدة و بعد مشاهدة البابون له، قام هو بتنفيذ هذه المهمة على أكمل وجه بدلاً من جامبر، و اشتهر القرد لدرجة أن الناس كانوا يأتون من أنحاء مختلفة، لهذه المحطة بالتحديد لمشاهدة هذا القرد و هو يقوم بالوظائف المطلوبة منه .
ردود أفعال الناس على عمل القرد في المحطةاختلفت ردود الأفعال لدى الناس عند رؤيتهم البابون يعمل مع جامبر في المحطة، فبعض الناس اعجبهم ذلك كثيرا، و كانوا يأتون لمشاهدة هذا القرد و هو يعمل، و البعض الآخر رأى أن الوضع قد يشكل خطراً على أرواح الناس، و أن هذا القرد من الممكن أن يخطئ و يدمر المحطة.
و قد قام بعض المواطنين بتقديم شكوى للسلطات المحلية، و العاملين داخل مكتب إدارة السكك الحديدية، كانوا على علم أن جامبر لديه مساعد خاص به في المحطة، و لكنهم لم يعلموا أن هذا المساعد هو قرد، و عند معرفتهم لم يقوموا بتصديق ما يقال، و عندما زاد عدد الشكاوي من القرد.
ذهب أحد الموظفين من مكتب إدارة السكك الحديدية، إلى المحطة التي يعمل جامبر فيها لكي يتأكد من وجود هذا القرد و عمله بداخل المحطة، و في هذا الوقت غضب هذا الموظف مما جعل جامبر يحاول أن يقنعه لإبقاء القرد معه،حتى أنه طلب منه أن يقوم بعمل اختبار لرؤية مدى اتقان القرد لما يقوم به من اعمال، و عندما وافق الموظف و قام بعمل الإختبارات للقرد بالفعل، لم يصدق ما يراه عندما وجد القرد يقوم بجميع المهام على أكمل وجه، دون عمل اي اخطاء، و هذا الانبهار الشديد بالفرد جعله يوافق على بقائه في المحطة لمساعدة جامبر.
و تم تعيين القرد كموظف رسمياً داخل المحطة و كان له مرتب خاص به، و لم يقوم القرد بعمل اي اخطاء طوال فترة ممارسة عمله، و استمر للعمل في المحطة لمدة تسع سنوات، حتى أصيب بمرض السل و توفى على اثره، و تم حفظ الجمجمة الخاصة به داخل متحف في جنوب افريقيا .

Who created Bitcoin?
Bitcoin is the first implementation of a concept called
